Every product that
Palmer Coking Coal Company sells is available on a U-Haul or we
deliver basis. Pick-up trucks and tow trailers are welcome. We
also offer attractive dumptruck pricing for larger
quantities.

Diamond
Many customers like the convenience of
hauling products in their own pick-up, trailer or small dumptruck. Our
retail sales yard is conveniently located on SR 169 in the middle
of Black Diamond. The entrance is marked by a large yellow steam
shovel next to our sign on the Maple Valley-to-Enumclaw highway.
We are between Mt. Rainier Bank and a 76 station. As you pull
into our driveway, drive to the brown office building with a red
awning.
Office at scale
Most of our products are sold on a “weigh-in
/ weigh-out / pay for what you get” basis. If you are purchasing
sand, gravel, topsoil, or specialty rock products you will be
directed to first pull on the scale where your pick-up or
dumptruck will be weighed-in empty.

Then you will pull up next to the stockpile
of material you wish to buy.

Sales yard
If you have an open bed pick-up or trailer
you will be loaded by a small loader in our retail yard. You
can also shovel into your own vehicle if you are loading into a
pick-up with a canopy or into your car's trunk.
Pick-up being loaded
Dumptrucks will typically be directed back to
the extraction area. After being loaded, you will then drive your
pick-up or dumptruck back onto the scale where you will be
weighed-out.
Pick-up weighing out
You will only be charged for the amount of
material you’re loaded with. Then come back into the office to
pay for your load. Certain landscape products such as beauty
bark, play chips, compost, or nutra-mulch are sold by the cubic
yard with a 1 cy minimum and must be purchased before loading.
In order to keep our prices low, we only accept cash or check (no
debit or credit cards). However, there is a cash machine
located across our driveway at the bank.
