SAFECO FIELD WARNING TRACK CINDERS

Palmer Coking Coal Company is proud to have
been selected as the exclusive supplier of Safeco Field warning
track cinders. Since the opening of Safeco Field in 1999, Palmer
has been providing this light-weight and attractively colored
product developed jointly by Palmer and the Seattle Mariners.
Safeco Field warning track cinders have also been used at Little
League and high school baseball fields throughout the Puget Sound
region.
The product’s distinctive color and texture
is a result of the blending of several raw ingredients including
Palmer’s own 1/4” red cinders, which are also used in high school
running tracks and jogging paths, together with 1/4” lava sand, a
light-weight volcanic material with a sandy texture. The Safeco
Field mix weighs approximately one ton per cubic yard and is
highly desired as a warning track material both for it's
distinctive color and its quality of being lightly packed.
Palmer Coking
Coal Company sells the Safeco Field warning track cinder from its
historic Black Diamond sales yard located at 31407 Highway 169 in
Black Diamond. The material can be purchased by homeowners in
pick-up size loads or by contractors using their own dumptrucks.
Palmer also maintains a fleet of trucks and trailers for
delivering large or small quantities. For very large quantity
orders (over sixty cubic yards) please call ahead to make sure
that your desired order will be ready when you need it.
